October 7 – 12: The Lynden Music Festival began in 2009 with a vision to bring an annual celebration of music to the historic town of Lynden, both to entertain and educate the community. Now in its 15th year, the festival has presented hundreds of concerts featuring local, national, and international musicians, provided educational opportunities for students of all ages, and supported community needs such as the local food bank and music scholarships. Spanning four to five days each year, the festival showcases nearly every genre in venues across town—from coffee shops and bookstores to the Jansen Art Center, Lynden Heritage Museum, community centers, churches, and even the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds. With the support of local businesses, venues, and a dedicated committee of ten, the festival has grown into a beloved tradition that fills the streets of Lynden with joy, creativity, and celebration.
